I've been tutoring for over 9 years. I tutored all grade levels. I helped in the CAHSEE preparation program and SAT program when I worked in a high school. I've worked in multiple after school programs for all grade levels. The reason why I want to become a tutor is because I am pursuing a career as teacher. I have that mentally and goal to give back to the community because it has helped me along the way in becoming a teacher. Also, tutoring can be more so than a profession, they have the ability to reach out to the future. They have the chance to be greater than themselves by being the shapers of minds and nurturers of a future generation. They can witness the great minds and hearts of the years to come at the starting gates. They can help set them on the right path and maybe even guide the children to create a better tomorrow.
